Eric Tedder

Hello My Name Is...

Mr. Tedder

Welcome to my website!  History is my passion and I look forward to introducing you to the wonders, mysteries, awe-inspiring moments, heroes, and modern relevance that it offers around every turn.  I hope you find this website easy to navigate and useful.  I post a ton of material on my website for your use.  Everything from presentations we have covered in class to useful outside links and more can be found here and I update things on a regular basis.  Make sure you check back often.

A little bit about me:
I have taught here at Lithia Springs High School for 6 years now in the Social Studies department and served the past 3 years as the Instructional Lead (Department Chair).  I have also previously taught at Pebblebrook High School and Tapp Middle School in Cobb County.  Before teaching, I served as the Lead Museum Educator at the Atlanta History Center in Buckhead for almost 6 years after graduating from the University of North Georgia with a degree in history.
In my free time I love to spend time with my amazing wife and 2 wonderful kids.  Additionally I also enjoy participating in living history and historical reenactments all around the country.  I have been a historical reenactor since 1993 and it has only deepened my passion for history through it.  I reenact as a soldier in the American Revolution, American Civil War, and World War II.
