ACT/SAT Waiver
Parents of and Seniors,
I have received several phone calls/emails regarding the plan for students to receive SAT/ACT fee waivers to pay for the cost of testing. As you may be aware, in the past, eligibility has been determined by whether a student participated in the free or reduced lunch program the current school year. For a period of time, if a student received free or reduced lunch last school year, their status will remain approved for the current time. While students will begin this school year digitally, it is still very important that parents go ahead and apply for the free/reduced lunch program, located on the Douglas County Board of Education Website, if the plan is for the student to participate in the program when they return to school physically. I currently have only ACT Fee Waivers (they will expire August 31, 2020), but will be receiving SAT Fee Waivers by the end of August. Please call or email me, if you would like to come to the school to pick-up an ACT Fee Waiver.
Thanks,
Lauren Fleming
