Lithia Spring High School Chess Club is an organization that is designed to teach and improve the students' mechanics of the classical board game-Chess. The LSHS Chess Club participates in academic competition at the local and state level. Besides advancing their game mechanics, students also benefit by improving creativity and problem solving, learning to use foresight and planning strategies, and optimizing their memory.
