BRING YOUR CHARGED LAPTOP/CHROMEBOOK TO SCHOOL.

9th Grade

Option #2

YouScience Aptitude & Career Discovery at Home

If you prefer to complete the YouScience program from home, we will mark your absence as a “Field trip” (it won’t count against you), but only if we see the program was completed on 10/24. If you stay home and the program is not completed, your absence will be counted as unexcused.

PSAT Day

The state of GA pays for every 10th Grader (according to what is in Infinite Campus) to take the PSAT so that you will be better prepared for college admissions testing. We will test all 10th graders (for FREE) in advisement. If you want to take the test, please be here on time and well-rested. It is not required, but if you are present at school, you will take it.

BRING YOUR CHARGED LAPTOP/CHROMEBOOK TO SCHOOL.

11th Grade

Option #1

Community Service Day!

Make plans with classmates/friends/family to participate in community service for the day. Bring proof of your service and your attendance will be coded as if you were on a “Field-Trip” (in other words, your absence will be excused). The counselors will have a box in the MIDDLE office where you can turn in your form! (Attendance will ONLY be changed when the COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUEST FOR CREDIT form is submitted.)

This is the recommended Junior option for our “Bridging the Gap” day!
