The countdown to an exciting new school year is on! Student schedules are now available to view in Infinite Campus. If you need to request a schedule change, please submit a 2026–2027 Request Change Form. Click here for the Request Change Form or scan the QR. All requests must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

Before You Submit Your Request:
✅ Only requests submitted through the Add/Drop Form will be considered.
✅ Submit a separate form for each schedule change request.
✅ Schedule changes are subject to course availability.
❌ Requests for specific teachers or class periods will not be accepted.

Please note that our counseling team is still balancing class sizes and verifying student placements. As a result, additional adjustments may be made to ensure students are enrolled in the appropriate courses. We encourage you to carefully review the Schedule Change Guidelines before submitting your request through the official Google Form.

Tuskegee University College Tour

Hello, Lion Nation! Get ready our Counseling Department is kicking off the new school year with an exciting opportunity for our upperclassmen! On Thursday, August 20, 2026, our 11th- and 12th-grade students will have the opportunity to visit the prestigious Tuskegee University. This college tour is designed to help our juniors and seniors experience campus life, explore academic programs, learn more about the admissions process, and envision the exciting possibilities available to them after high school.

Target Audience: This trip is exclusively for students in 11th and 12th grades only.

Cost: $18 per student. Students should bring additional money for lunch.

Departure: Students must report to Lithia Springs High School by 6:30 a.m. The bus will depart promptly at 7:00 a.m.

How to Participate: Students interested in attending should scan the QR code on the flyer and complete the interest form. Permission slips are available in the Counselor’s Suite and should be returned to Ms. Eaddle once completed. Space may be limited, so eligible students are encouraged to complete the interest form and return their permission slips as soon as possible.

New Cell Phone Policy Begins with the 2026–2027 School Year

To create a curriculum-focused, distraction-free learning environment, all Douglas County high schools will become cell phone-free beginning with the 2026–2027 school year.

What This Means for Students: All high school students will be required to store personal electronic devices from 8:20 a.m. until 3:10 p.m. each school day.

Devices covered by this policy include:

* Cell phones
* Tablets and iPads
* Smart glasses
* Wireless earbuds and headphones
* Smartwatches

Students are expected to keep all personal electronic devices out of use during the school day. Devices should be stored in book bags, secured in vehicles, or managed according to the classroom teacher's established procedures.

Need to Contact Your Child During the School Day?

Parents and guardians who need to reach their child during school hours should contact the school’s main office. Families may also email their child’s teacher or contact the attendance office using the information available in Infinite Campus.

Graduation Practice #1 UPDATE on May 15, 2026: Practice will be held at Legacy Arena on May 15th. Students should arrive at 9:30 A.M. to be bused to the arena for this practice. Students will not be allowed to drive to the arena and cannot be dropped off. Buses will leave LSHS at 10:00 A.M. Please eat before you arrive at LSHS on this day. No food or drink will be allowed in the arena during practice.

Practice Start Time - 10:30 A.M.

Practice End Time - 1:30 P.M.

Students will be bused back to LSHS and students will be released to return home.

Graduation Practice #2: May 20, 2026: Practice will be held at LSHS in the New Gym.

Practice Start Time - 9:00 A.M. (You must arrive on time and be in your seat by 9:00 A.M.)

Practice End Time - 12:00 P.M.

Students will receive 10 graduation tickets at the end of this practice. If there are extra tickets, I will send out an email after graduation practice ends on May 20th, only if there are extra tickets.

No parking passes will be given. See the latest Lion Report for DCSS Graduation Parking Information.

Graduation Day: May 21, 2026. 9:00 A.M. Account for traffic and leave early. Doors of the arena will open at 6:00 A.M. Food vendors will be onsite if you would like to purchase breakfast prior to the start of graduation.

The Road To State Is Paved In Green and Gold...Lady Lions Track and Field Headed to State!

Lion Nation, we are proud to celebrate another major milestone in Lithia Springs High School Athletics history. Our Lady Lions Track and Field athletes have officially punched their ticket to the state stage.

After an outstanding performance at the GHSA 5A Sectional B Meet on May 2, 2026, these athletes dominated their events and are now set to compete against the best in Georgia at the GHSA State Track and Field Championships on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

State Championship Location: Spec Towns Track at the University of Georgia Track and Field Complex, 2325 S Milledge Ave, Athens, GA 30605.

Lions Track & Field: The Road to State Starts Here!

Lion Nation, it’s time to rise! Please join us in congratulating our Lithia Springs High School Track & Field athletes who qualified for Sectional B, Regions 4, 5, 6, and 7.

The meet will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Barron Stadium, hosted by Rome High School, located at 300 West 3rd Street, Rome, GA. Admission is $10 for the day.

Congratulations to our girls team qualifiers: Leila Essex in High Jump and 100m, Lee’Onni Tillman in Shot Put, the Girls 200m Relay Team featuring Samiya Simmons, Paisley Williams, Angel Ewohime, and Cailee Hall, and Toyosi Awoleye in the 800m and 1600m.

We are proud of all of our Lions as they compete for a chance to advance on the road to state. Let’s cheer them on and wish them the best of luck! Go Lions!

Lithia Springs Soccer Heads to State Playoffs !

Please join us in a huge round of applause for Coach Kevin Pace and the Boys Varsity Soccer Team! After a hard fought regular season, the Lions have officially secured 4th place in Region 5 AAAAA, earning their spot in the state playoffs.

Lithia Springs finished strong with a 4–3 region record, led by senior Emmanuel Mancilla, who dominated the season with an impressive 20 goals. This team has shown resilience, discipline, and true Lion pride every step of the way.

Now it is time for the next chapter. The Lions are heading to the first round of the GHSA State Playoffs as they travel to face McIntosh High School.
