First year Lithia Springs softball coach Fred Lavender said his Lions are young this year. But he said he’s looking forward to an exciting season.
The Lions are led by senior captain K’saja West, a utility player and multi-sport athlete.
“She does everything we’ve asked her to do and has great leadership,” Lavender said.
West added that there is good team chemistry.
“It’s really fun at practices,” she said.
