Students in our Cybersecurity and Computer Science Pathways started the year off right by participating in an interactive project designed to connect classroom learning to real-world careers. As part of the Career Gallery Walk, students explored Cyber.org posters in the halls featuring QR codes linked to careers in cybersecurity, software development, IT support, and software and hardware technology.
After scanning and researching various careers, students selected one that aligned with their interests and created a personalized Canva presentation showcasing the education, skills, and certifications required for success in that field. This project helped students discover emerging job opportunities and understand how their coursework in STEM and technology can lead to dynamic and rewarding careers.
This initiative supports Georgia's career and technical education standards and encourages students to take ownership of their future by exploring pathways that match their passions and talents.
